DISCLOSURE TEXT ON PROTECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

Article 10 of Law No. 6698 on Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK"), titled "Obligation of Disclosure by the Data Controller", requires Yunus Emre Foundation, as the data controller, to inform data subjects about its contact details, the purposes of processing personal data, to whom and for what purposes the processed personal data may be transferred, the method and legal basis for collecting personal data, and the rights of the data subject as provided in Article 11 of KVKK.

This Disclosure Text has been prepared to inform and enlighten data subjects in accordance with KVKK and related legislation.

Identity of the Data Controller

Data Controller: Yunus Emre Foundation, located at Anafartalar Mahallesi, Atatürk Bulvarı No: 11 Altındağ / ANKARA.

Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your personal data may be processed for the following purposes:

• Conducting promotional activities to benefit our stakeholders and target audience from the services within the Foundation's scope of activities,
• Providing information about changes that may occur regarding our areas of activity and events,
• Conducting evaluation and analysis studies within legal limits regarding stakeholders and target audience,
• Conducting research studies and analyses, including surveys aimed at measuring the satisfaction of the target audience participating in activities carried out with stakeholders,
• Creating and updating efficiency reports by obtaining information about developments related to stakeholders and target audience in the service provided,
• Resolving complaints of stakeholders and participating target audience regarding the service and processing data access or correction requests,
• Monitoring and execution of legal processes and communication processes with other official institutions,
• Determining and implementing the Foundation's business strategies,
• Planning information security processes, establishing and managing the information technology infrastructure,
• Managing Foundation relations between stakeholders and target audience and monitoring corporate governance activities,
• Conducting financial, accounting, and financial transactions including billing related to the service area within the Foundation's scope of activity, and performing risk management,

Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

Your personal data may be shared and transferred, in order to fulfil the purposes listed above, with our domestic suppliers, logistics companies, event companies, digital agencies, call center service providers, audit firms, banks, financial institutions, consulting firms providing support in fields such as law and tax, insurance companies, third parties providing outsourced services in areas such as storage, archiving, IT support (server, hosting, software, cloud computing), security, call center, sales and marketing, as well as legally authorized public institutions and private persons and organizations, within the framework of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 8 and 9 of KVKK.

Method and Legal Basis for Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is processed by Yunus Emre Foundation through channels such as application forms, website membership and contact forms, website e-newsletter registration forms, cookies, and job application forms; in accordance with the principles and procedures prescribed by KVKK and related legislation for Yunus Emre Foundation to continue its activities, for the purposes stated in this Disclosure Text and for legal reasons aimed at fulfilling our legal obligations.

Access to Personal Data and Your Rights under KVKK

Pursuant to Article 11 of KVKK, you have the right to apply to Yunus Emre Foundation to learn whether your personal data is being processed, request information if it has been processed, learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with its purpose, know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically, request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed and request notification of such correction to third parties to whom the data has been transferred, request deletion or destruction of your personal data if the reasons requiring its processing cease to exist within the scope of purpose, duration and legitimacy principles, and request notification of such action to third parties, object to a result that is unfavourable to you arising from the analysis of your processed personal data exclusively through automated systems, and request compensation for damages if your personal data is processed unlawfully and you suffer a loss. In this context, you may submit your request regarding the above rights to iletisim@yee.org.tr via secure electronic signature or deliver it in person or send it via notary with a wet-signed petition along with documents identifying your identity.

Yunus Emre Foundation will finalize your requests regarding your rights as soon as possible and within at most 30 (thirty) business days depending on the nature of the request. We would like to emphasize that if your personal data is processed with explicit consent, in the event you withdraw such explicit consent, you will be removed from the membership/loyalty program for which such processing is required, and you will no longer benefit from the advantages you have benefited from as of the relevant date.

Your application must be submitted clearly and comprehensibly, along with documents identifying your identity and address, in writing with a wet signature either in person, by post, or via notary to the address: Anafartalar Mahallesi, Atatürk Bulvarı, No:11 Altındağ / ANKARA.
